KEVIN OWENS’ 16 YEAR OLD SON IS 6’8”, AND WWE MIGHT BE IN HIS FUTURE

Some of you may remember Owen Steen, son of Kevin Owens. The wrestle web couldn’t get enough of the little guy when his dad was starting his WWE run in the mid-2010s. His reaction to his dad’s accomplishments was precious (even though the internet is full of jerks), and the fact he was actually a bigger fan of KO’s first main roster rival than his old man was a hoot.

Well, Owen — who really wasn’t that little, even in his elementary school days — is now 16 years old and towers over his father. In an interview on NHL Network during Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals earlier this week, Bruce Boudreau’s favorite wrestler revealed that his son is now Braun Strowman’s height. He also recently tried out the family business for the first time.

“He’s 16, he’s back there. He’s six foot eight... he got in the ring last week for the first time so that might be an avenue.

“It was pretty awesome to see. And with WWE, obviously, I’m able to bring him to the best possible places for training so, yeah, it’s great to see him have the interest, at least, give it a shot and see what happens.”

Even if Owen does decide to follow in dad’s footsteps, It’ll be a few years before we see him wrestle. But KO started his training in Quebec at age 14 and had his first pro match when he was Owen’s age. Owen didn’t get his height from pops, but if he got his wrestling acumen, he could be a quick study.

Time will tell if pro wrestling runs in the Steen/Owens’ family bloodline. For now, Kevin says he’s rented out a suite for his family in Toronto for next weekend’s Money in the Bank premium live event, so Owen will be on hand to see dad team with Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes against WWE’s Bloodline.
