WHO WON NASCAR AT DOVER? FULL RACE RESULTS AND CUP SERIES STANDINGS

Denny Hamlin won the Wurth 400 at Dover International Speedway on Sunday for his third win of the NASCAR Cup Series campaign. Hamlin held off Kyle Larson to clinch the checkered flag in the 11th race of the 2024 season.

After Kyle Busch started from pole position with a 22.196 qualifying time at the Dover International Speedway, the race dramatically unfolded. Following a pileup that took out Bubba Watson, William Byron and Christopher Bell, Hamlin held on to secure the win.

At the end of the first stage, much of the grid made their way into the pit to start the second stage on new tyres as teams eyed a faster pace than those who had pitted just before the end of the first stage. Despite starting from pole, Busch dropped back into the pack due to technical difficulties with his car - and Hamlin seized advantage.

Hamlin got a sensational jump on the restart and snagged the lead ahead of Larson, while Martin Truex Jr. rounded out the top three. Below, Express Sports U.S. tells you everything you need to know about the race results...
