NIKOLA JOKIC MAKES NBA HISTORY IN GAME 2 VS. HEAT

The Denver Nuggets suffered a tough loss in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, but superstar center Nikola Jokic made more NBA history, joining LeBron James and Larry Bird as the only players in NBA history with at least 500 points, 200 rebounds, and 150 assists in a single playoff run.

Jokic turned in another dominant performance on Sunday night, finishing with 41 PTS, 11 REB, and 4 AST in the loss. The Nuggets led by as many as 15 points, but were unable to maintain their lead, and suffered a tough loss that tied that series at 1-1.

Jokic has continued to make history throughout this playoff run, and is likely not done. While he is unconcerned with individual accolades and statistics, his play is often what leads Denver to victories. While that was not the case in this game, Denver had plenty of opportunities to win this game, and just did not execute enough to put Miami away.

While a lot of focus will be placed on Denver and their inability to secure this win, the Heat deserve a lot of credit for fighting back after trailing by 15. Denver is an incredibly tough environment for away teams to win in, but Miami found a way to even this series at 1-1 heading back home. Needless to say, this was a massive win for the Heat.
