2025 NFL MOCK DRAFT: POTENTIAL FIRST-ROUND OPTIONS NEXT YEAR

Sheesh. The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books. Looking forward, next year’s class figures to have more high-end defensive prospects and quite a few intriguing quarterbacks. While a lot will change in a year, here are names that will be buzzing headed into the early months of college football.

1) Carolina Panthers - Will Campbell, Offensive Tackle, Louisiana State: The Panthers continue reloading their offense by getting Bryce Young another bookend blocker to pair with Ikem Ekwonu.

2) New England Patriots - Kelvin Banks, Offensive Tackle, Texas: The Pats rebuild will require a blindside protector for Drake Maye.

3) Denver Broncos - James Pearce, Edge Defender, Tennessee: James Pearce might go first overall a year from now. He is that talented of a defender.

4) Tennessee Titans - Carson Beck, Quarterback, Georgia: Picking this high means the Will Levis experiment has flamed out. Carson Beck has the makings to ascend as a quarterback prospect this year.

5) New York Giants - Jalen Milroe, Quarterback, Alabama: Jalen Milroe took a huge leap over his first year as a starter and his talent is through the roof. The Giants finally get their signal caller.

6) Washington Commanders - Will Johnson, Cornerback, Michigan: After drafting Jayden Daniels, the Commanders will need to remake their defense. Will Johnson is one of two blue chip cornerbacks in this draft.

7) Arizona Cardinals - Benjamin Morrison, Cornerback, Notre Dame: The Cardinals get an elite perimeter defender.

8) Minnesota Vikings - Mason Graham, Defensive Tackle, Michigan: Mason Graham is one of the better defenders in college football and should take another step in 2024.

9) Las Vegas Raiders - Quinn Ewers, Quarterback, Texas: The Raiders missed on a QB in this draft, but drafted extremely well anyway. Now Quinn Ewers can step into a talented offensive roster and thrive.

10) Seattle Seahawks - Shedeur Sanders, Quarterback, Colorado: Shedeur Sanders had an uneven first season at the FBS level, but the talent was obvious. If he takes another step, he will be a first round player.

11) New Orleans Saints - Luther Burden III, Wide Receiver, Missouri: The best receiver in college football heading into next season. A do-it-all weapon.

12) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Travis Hunter, Cornerback, Colorado: Travis Hunter could take another step in 2024 and contend for CB1.

13) Indianapolis Colts - Tetairoa McMillan, Wide Receiver, Arizona: The Colts add another huge target for Anthony Richardson.

14) Pittsburgh Steelers - Deone Walker, Defensive Lineman, Kentucky: The Steelers keep a youth movement going on the defensive line.

15) Los Angeles Rams - Harold Perkins, Edge Defender, Louisiana State: It’s weird to see the Rams back in the first round. They add another young defender to their scrappy and rebuilding unit.

16) Jacksonville Jaguars - Malaki Starks, Safety, Georgia: Jaguars get a back end defender who can help solidify their defense.

17) Cleveland Browns - Abdul Carter, Linebacker, Penn State: The Browns add one of the best linebackers in the country.

18) Chicago Bears - Tacario Davis, Cornerback, Arizona: The Bears did a great job filling out their offensive roster so Caleb Williams could immediately succeed. Now they’ll need to add more juice to the defense.

19) Los Angeles Chargers - Emeka Egbuka, Wide Receiver, Ohio State: The Chargers got Justin Herbert an elite left tackle in Joe Alt and a safety outlet in Ladd McConkey. Now they need a true number one receiver.

20) Houston Texans - Quinshon Judkins, Running Back, Mississippi: After an underwhelming 2024 running back class, the 2025 group might have three first round prospects. The Texans can put a legit workhorse in the backfield with CJ Stroud.

21) New York Jets - Jabbar Muhammad, Cornerback, Washington: The Jets add a great CB2 to play with Sauce Gardner.

22) Atlanta Falcons - Jack Sawyer, Edge, Ohio State: The Falcons have one of the better offensive rosters in the league right now. Defense is another story, however. Here they add a quality pass rusher.

23) Miami Dolphins - Colston Loveland, Tight End, Michigan: The Dolphins wide receivers are great. Now they add another weapon for Tua.

24) Green Bay Packers - JT Tuimoloau, Edge, Ohio State: The Packers are all set on offense right now. Now they add another pass rusher to a young defense.

25) Dallas Cowboys - Omarion Hampton, Running Back, North Carolina: The Ezekiel Elliott reunion is mostly about nostalgic desperation. The Cowboys are going to need a number one back next spring.

26) Philadelphia Eagles - Jonah Savaiinaea, Offensive Tackle, Arizona: Much to everyone’s surprise (mine included), the Eagles did not use any of their 2024 draft picks on an offensive tackle. Despite a need for Lane Johnson’s heir apparent, the Eagles opted to draft a pair of Day 3 interior linemen who have no hope of playing tackle. That means next draft they’ll almost certainly target a tackle high. Jonah Savaiinaea played in the shadow of Packers first-round pick Jordan Morgan in 2023 but will emerge as one of the best tackles in the country this season.

27) Detroit Lions - Nic Scourton, Edge, Purdue: The Lions did a great job rebuilding their secondary through the 2024 draft. Now they can add another talented player to their front seven.

28) Cincinnati Bengals - Ollie Gordon II, Running Back, Oklahoma State: The Joe Mixon exit might have some short term fixes, but the Bengals will probably need a true top back after next season.

29) Buffalo Bills - Denzel Burke, Cornerback, Ohio State: The Bills need a youth movement all over their defense. Denzel Burke will add some quality coverage abilities to a rebuilding secondary.

30) Baltimore Ravens - Kevin Winston Junior, Safety, Penn State: The Ravens pair a great talent with Kyle Hamilton in their secondary.

31) San Francisco 49ers - Ashton Gillotte, Edge, Louisville: The Niners lost some defensive line depth this offseason and though they are built to withstand that, they’ll need reloading next draft.

31) Kansas City Chiefs - Howard Cross III, Defensive Lineman, Notre Dame: Howard Cross III is an undersized but disruptive defensive tackle who feels like an Andy Reid player.
