BENGALS SIGN NATE BROOKS, PER REPORT

The Cincinnati Bengals are adding to the defensive back room.

According to NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo, the Bengals are signing free agent cornerback Nate Brooks.

Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

This comes as a bit of a surprise after Duke Tobin indicated the team wasn’t planning to add another cornerback, even though the position could use some added depth and veteran experience. They’ll get both with the 27-year-old Brooks, who has been in the NFL since 2019 and played for the San Francisco 49ers this past season. He also played for the Michigan Panthers of the UFL this year and was named to the 2024 All-UFL Team.
