DIGGS SENDS INTERCEPTION WARNING TO NFL

DALLAS - A season ago, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs tore his ACL at practice after Week 2 and missed the remainder of the season. In his stead, however, second-year cornerback DaRon Bland did quite well filling in.

Bland had 69 tackles, nine interceptions and an NFL record five returned for scores. Not too shabby, we would say.

Training camp is now around the corner and Diggs is feeling ready to take on all comers alongside his partner Bland. ... So much so that he posted a warning on his official X account.

“Me & my Bruddah got like 30 sum INTs. Do what you want with that info” and a smiley face emoji.

The Cowboys have a pair of All-Pro-level playmakers in Bland and Diggs. Just before his injury last season, Diggs had signed a five-year, $97 million monster deal that made him one of the highest paid corners in the league.

Speaking at the Reliant Energy Home Run Derby this spring, Bland spoke about Diggs’ return.

“I mean, a lot of people are not expecting what Tre is gonna come back with,” Bland said. “I know what Tre is gonna come back with. It’s going to be something dangerous. Can’t wait.”

Cowboys fans - excited by the "warning'' - surely can’t wait, either.
