Coming off a 6-11 season, the New York Giants are looking to right the ship at the 2024 NFL Draft.
Dealing with injuries to several positions, including quarterback and offensive line, the Giants looked like a totally different team than the one that reached the divisional round of the playoffs in 2022.
Quarterback Daniel Jones is working his way back from a torn ACL, which limited him to just six games in 2023. Tyrod Taylor signed with the New York Jets in free agency, and the Giants replaced him with Drew Lock.
The Giants have two selections within the top 50, and their spot in the second round is later due to the trade to acquire edge rusher Brian Burns this offseason. Even with Jones under contract, the quarterback position is certainly in play at No. 6 overall.
This will be the third draft for general manager Joe Schoen. Last year, they selected cornerback Deonte Banks. In 2022, they used a pair of top-10 picks to select edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux and offensive tackle Evan Neal.
