HOW MANY TIMES HAS DAK PRESCOTT BEAT THE EAGLES AT HOME?

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is having one of the best seasons of his eight-year NFL career. The Cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night in a game Dallas needs to win to have a realistic shot at taking the NFC East and getting the top seed in the conference.

The Eagles held off a late Cowboys rally to win 28-23 at home in Week 9 to take a two-game lead in the division. Prescott completed 29 of 44 passes for 374 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, but Dallas couldn’t finish off the last-minute drive after getting down to the Eagles’ six-yard line.

Dak Prescott Handles Philadelphia Eagles at Home

Prescott has played Philadelphia at home six times, all during the regular season, and he has won five of the matchups. He missed the 2020 game after suffering a season-ending compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle in Week 5.

Prescott has played great against Philadelphia at home during his career. In five wins, he has a 71.8% completion percentage, averages 313.2 pass yards per game, and has thrown 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. In two of the wins, Prescott threw the game-winning touchdown pass in overtime.

Overall, in all six home games, Prescott has completed 69.8% of his passes for an average of 285.2 yards per game with 12 touchdowns and eight interceptions. The completion percentage and passing yards per game are above his career averages.

The Cowboys, with Prescott as the starter, have averaged 35.2 points per game in the five home wins against the Eagles. The only loss was during the 2017 season when Philadelphia won 37-9 as Prescott threw three interceptions.

Prescott has won three of the six games he’s played in Philadelphia during his career. He’s missed two games, both Dallas losses, because of injuries in 2020 and 2021. Prescott has averaged 236.7 pass yards per game and thrown 10 touchdowns with no interceptions and a 64.6% completion percentage. His yards per game are slightly down because he only played part of a Week 17 game during his rookie season.

The Cowboys are undefeated at home and are averaging 41 points per game through six games. Dallas is 3-3 and has scored 23.7 points per game on the road this season.

Prescott has a 76.3% completion percentage, averages 309 pass yards per game, and has thrown 18 touchdowns and two interceptions at home. He has thrown for four touchdown passes and has completed over 80% of his passes three times at home.

Prescott’s numbers are down when he plays on this road this season. He has 230 passing yards per game, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions while completing 63.5% of his passes.

The Cowboys have one home game left, and it’s against another division leader, the Detroit Lions, in Week 17.

After the Eagles game, Dallas will travel to play the Buffalo Bills in Week 15 and visit the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Eve. The Cowboys play at the Washington Commanders to finish the season in Week 18.
