LONGTIME MEMBER OF GREEN BAY PACKERS FRANCHISE HAS DIED AT 79

The Green Bay Packers have become one of the most successful franchises in sports.

One reason is the talent it employees. Unfortunately, Jesse Kaye, one of their former employees passed away on Saturday at a health care facility in Green Bay.

The team social media account announced the news on Sunday.

During his impressive NFL career, Kaye is known for being one of the few people to like Tom Brady coming out of Michigan. Brady, a sixth-round draft pick, became the greatest quarterback in NFL history.

Overall, Kaye made strong impacts for the Packers, New York Jets, and Pittsburgh Steelers organization after being trusted in several roles.

"Kaye was hired by the Packers in May 1989 to perform double duty as a pro scout in player personnel and as an administrative assistant to coach Lindy Infante. In his role as scout, Kaye replaced Burt Gustafson and answered to vice president of football operations Tom Braatz. After his first year, Kaye also assisted Braatz with contract negotiations.

"Kaye retired from the Jets in 2014. Prior to joining the Packers, he had scouted for the BLESTO combine and the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1986 to '89."

Rest in Peace, Jesse.
