ISLANDERS DON'T BRING BACK SEBASTIAN AHO IN FREE AGENCY, HEADS TO PENGUINS

However, that's not going to happen, as he inked a deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday, a day after free agency opened.

Unless they add a defenseman, they will have 23-year-old Samuel Bolduc serve as the seventh defenseman.

Bolduc, who struggled with confidence over his short NHL career, played 34 games last season -- three games under Patrick Roy -- scoring two goals with three assists while averaging 13:09 minutes per game.
