MAPLE LEAFS SUPERSTAR OUT FOR GAME 3 VS. BRUINS

A few hours before Game 3, Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe said that there was a chance that William Nylander could play Game 3. The superstar forward missed both Games 1 and 2 due to an undisclosed injury.

While the Maple Leafs had some optimism about the prospect of Nylander suiting up for Game 3, that now has disappeared. Nylander is officially not playing.

This is definitely good news for the Bruins, as Nylander is one of the Maple Leafs' best offensive players. The Leafs have missed him immensely over the first two games of the series, and that is now translating over to Game 3.

The Bruins must take advantage of Nylander's absence. They have a golden opportunity to take a 2-1 series lead with a win. Once Nylander returns to the lineup for Toronto, wins will be even harder to come by, as he is a gamechanger. Let's see if the Bruins can get a big W tonight from here.
