MAPLE LEAFS' TYLER BERTUZZI CHEAPSHOTS BRAD MARCHAND

The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs have certainly had a chippy start to their playoff series. This was expected, as these two clubs have a deep rivalry, and it is always taken to another level during the postseason.

Maple Leafs forward Tyler Bertuzzi has certainly been noticeable in that department. The gritty winger has created plenty of chaos over the first two games because of his antics, and Bruins captain Brad Marchand personally experienced it.

In Game 2, Bertuzzi gave Marchand a dirty slash in the back of the leg after the whistle. Understandably, Bertuzzi was handed a two-minute minor penalty for the play. Some felt that Marchand deserved an embellishment penalty as well.

While Marchand and Bertuzzi meshed well together as teammates on the Bruins last season, it's clear that their previous rivalry has been reignited. It is not surprising, as both players are agitators who make an impact both with their physicality and skill.

Following the Maple Leafs' win, Bertuzzi and Marchand were seen barking at one another. Given their heated battles all night, this was not surprising.

The Bruins and Marchand will now look to get things back on track against Bertuzzi and the Leafs in Game 3 on Wednesday.
