ANGEL REESE MADE WNBA HISTORY AGAINST CAITLIN CLARK SUNDAY

The Chicago Sky are hosting Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Sunday afternoon.

Sky rookie forward Angel Reese continued her run of great play on Sunday afternoon, joining an elite WNBA club with her eighth straight double-double.

"8 DOUBLE-DOUBLES FOR ANGEL REESE 🔥 Angel is the 3rd player in league history with eight consecutive double-doubles joining Sylvia Fowles and Candace Parker," the WNBA announced.

While Reese clearly loves playing against Clark, she's made it clear that she has no issues with her personally.

“Me and Caitlin Clark don't hate each other. I want everybody to understand that. It's just a super-competitive game. Once I get between those lines, there's no friends. I'm going to talk trash to you. I'm going to do whatever it takes to get in your head the whole entire game, but after the game, we can kick it. I don't think people really realize that.”

Clark had similar feelings.

"I’m pretty sure that the only people who view this as a rivalry is all of you," Clark said on Friday night. "For us, it’s just a game of basketball. That’s what it is. If it’s going to help move the game forward, then absolutely. That’s amazing. That’s what it should be. People can talk about it."

The Fever and the Sky are playing on ESPN.
