CAITLIN CLARK GOES VIRAL FOR BREAKING MERCURY STAR'S ANKLES THEN AIRBALLING DURING FEVER VS. MERCURY GAME

The Indiana Fever and Phoenix Mercury are squaring off in what has been an intense game thus far.

Despite the game just being in the second quarter, there have already been five technical fouls called.

Mercury forward Brittney Griner shoved Caitlin Clark's teammate Aliyah Boston, which resulted in a technical.

And there was a scuffle between the two teams during a break that produced four technical fouls.

Yet, Clark hasn't been involved in any hostility.

Aside from when she broke the ankles of a Mercury player before shooting a three.

At one point in the first half, Clark pulled off a sleek move on Mercury player Rebecca Allen.

Clark was dribbling around the perimeter when she hit Allen with a nasty crossover dribble.

Allen fell to the floor as a result.

Clark, who had not received a more wide-open shot all season, ended up air-balling the ensuing three point shot.

The above video already has nearly 20,000 views, 30 minutes after it was posted.

Although Clark did manage to have a laugh with Allen after the play was over.

Time will tell whether Clark or Allen will have the last laugh on Sunday.
