CAITLIN CLARK'S HISTORIC GAME AGAINST LAS VEGAS ACES GETS EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE

Aside from tying Sue Bird for the most rookie double-doubles for points and assists, Caitlin Clark actually made more history during the Indiana Fever's recent showdown against the Las Vegas Aces.

While the Fever lost to the Aces 88-69 during their Wednesday showdown, Clark was still able to make her presence felt with 13 points, six rebounds and 11 assists. As mentioned, she tied Bird for the most double-doubles for points and assists by a rookie with three.

But aside from that, she also now has the most double-doubles by a rookie guard since the WNBA's first season, per StatMamba. Overall, Clark has a total of five double-doubles so far in her young career.

Furthermore, Clark is also now the youngest player to record a double-double in points and assists in back-to-back games--having tallied 15 points and 12 assists in the Phoenix Mercury game prior to that showdown. The Fever rookie was 22 years and 163 days old against the Aces.

Caitlin Clark, who was recently named to the WNBA All-Star team, seems to be peaking at the right time for the Fever. Out of her five doubles-doubles so far, four of which came in their last six games.

With that being said, don't be surprised to see Clark set and break more records in their upcoming games.
