URBAN MEYER APPEARS TO HAVE CONFIRMED DECISION ON COACHING CAREER

There's been a lot of speculation about whether or not Urban Meyer will eventually return to the sideline.

While Meyer's time in the National Football League went terribly, he remains one of the greatest college football head coaches in history. It would not be surprising if a school decides to pursue Meyer in the future.

However, Meyer appears to have made his future college football coaching plans clear.

Meyer will not be returning to the sideline.

The Columbus Dispatch reported on a discussion between PGA Tour golfer Billy Horschel and Meyer.

"Horschel said that when the two former Gators bumped into each other in Chicago last month, Meyer told him he was done coaching. Meyer said the job took too much out of him, plus the college game has changed so much with NIL and the transfer rules that he would need to change his methods to be successful. That, and the three-time national champion, which includes the 2014 title with the Buckeyes, is enjoying his TV gig with Fox and loves being around his grandchildren," they reported.

Meyer's wife, Shelley, apparently confirmed the news.

"I looked at (Shelley) and she nodded (when Urban said he was done coaching)," Horschel said.

Meyer has changed his mind before, though it appears to be final this time.
