WNBA MAKES DECISION ON ANGEL REESE'S SECOND PRESEASON GAME

The WNBA took serious heat over the weekend, for not streaming the Chicago Sky vs. Minnesota Lynx preseason game, which featured the professional debut of Angel Reese.

“I mean, it sucks," Ionescu said at the Liberty’s Media Day on Saturday. “I think representation of every team is important. … Hopefully, the league can fix that because I think they dropped the ball on that part and hopefully they have a great explanation as to why that wasn’t televised. But hats off to the person that just figured it out.”

Thankfully, it sounds like things will be different for Reese's second preseason game.

Reese and the Chicago Sky are set to return to the floor on Tuesday. They'll host the New York Liberty at 7 p.m. E.T.

It looks like the game will be streamed.

WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart has seen the criticism of the lack of streaming options for games. She's hoping it'll be corrected moving forward.

“It means people want to watch,” she said. “Making sure as many of these games are being able to be watched as possible.”
