"WWE NEVER GAVE ME ANYTHING" - 37-YEAR-OLD STAR CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS CATCHPHRASE

WWE has been much better creatively since Triple H took control, but despite that certain talents might not have gotten the chances they probably deserved. Dijak, who recently left the company, claimed responsibility for his presentation.

After seven years, during which he primarily rose to fame in NXT, Dijak announced that the company had chosen not to re-sign him. Following his exit, the towering star wrote a letter that ended with the catchphrase, "It's time to do or Dijak," and he was asked about the clever line during an interview with Joe Lowry.

The 37-year-old star claimed he came up with the catchphrase and everything of such sort during his time in World Wrestling Entertainment. Dijak also took a cheeky shot at his former employer, saying they only gave him terrible names, referencing T-Bar and the faction, Retribution.

"That's me! Yeah! If you ever see a catchphrase or anything like that, I came up with all of it. WWE never gave me anything like that. The only things they ever gave me were terrible, like T-Bar and Retribution and stuff like that [laughs]," said Dijak. [8:41 - 9:00]

Dijak explains the reality of his WWE departure

For a talent who wasn't used after getting called up to RAW, Dijak seemingly had a valid reason to be annoyed about how things went down at the pro wrestling juggernaut.

Dijak said that in addition to not offering a better deal, the promotion didn't propose continuing with a similar contract he previously had with them. The former NXT star unsurprisingly labeled it a wrong decision on WWE's part and spoke about his genuine connection with the fanbase.

"The reality of the situation was, for whatever reason, the WWE were not interested in even offering me the current contract I was on at that time. I think it was a poor decision on their part, obviously. I had a pretty good sense of how the fanbase generally feels because I'm pretty much in touch with a lot of the fans online; I talk to fans at events," he said. [From 2:21 onwards]

It's just been days since his contract ended, but Dijak has already been spotted in a wrestling ring! If his intentions are any indication, the 6' 7" star hopes to make Triple H's team regret their decision not to retain his services.
