NICK KYRGIOS AND TIM HENMAN ACCUSE NOVAK DJOKOVIC OF LOSING ON PURPOSE AT WIMBLEDON

Nick Kyrgios and Tim Henman cheekily suggested that Novak Djokovic was letting Jacob Fearnley back into their tie to give Andy Murray a prime British TV slot.

Djokovic raced into a two-set lead against Britain's world No.277 Fearnley on Centre Court on Thursday. However, the Serbian dropped the third set 7-5 and looked in trouble in the fourth.

Djokovic opened proceedings on the main show court, while the Murray brothers were due to play doubles in the third match of the day. Meanwhile, on Court 1, both British No.1's were in action.

Harriet Dart won a marathon clash with Katie Boulter and Jack Draper was walking onto court to take on Cameron Norrie.

And it led Kyrgios and Henman to raise suspicions that Djokovic may have been doing his pal Murray a favor in delaying his doubles match until all the Brits on Court 1 had finished.

"Listen, the schedulers are relieved if that happens because what we don't want is the Murray brothers playing doubles at the same time as Cam Norrie is playing Jack Draper," BBC host Clare Balding said.

And Kyrgios responded: "Maybe Novak knows that deep down. Maybe he does." Henman added: "He's almost trying to help the tournament, he's a member of the club."

Kyrgios then pressed Henman on getting his hands on a membership, which is traditionally only handed to the men's and women's champions.

"When can I be a member?" the Aussie quizzed. "I'm working on it. I've got some pull around here but not that much," Henman joked.
