ANGEL REESE WASN'T HAPPY WITH CHARLES BARKLEY'S CAITLIN CLARK COMMENT

Angel Reese already made it clear she wasn't happy with Charles Barkley's comments alleging WNBA players were being "petty" toward Caitlin Clark.

But if there were any doubts left about Reese's anger at Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal put them to rest during the latest episode of his "The Big Podcast With Shaq."

During the conversation, Shaq revealed that Reese personally reached out to let him know she was unhappy that he didn't intervene on her behalf when Barkley spoke up on the air.

"I have to call [Reese] to tell her 'stop reading comments'," Shaq said, via Athlon Sports.

"You don't owe an explanation to anybody.... Cause she jumped on me. 'Why you say nothing to Charles?' Cause first of all, you know Charles takes up the segment and I didn't have time to say anything, but I talked to him afterwards."

Shaq also added that "the ones that are real sensitive are the ones that are more dominant," in regards to Reese.

Well, O'Neal may have felt Reese was being overly sensitive about Barkley's remarks, but the 2024 first round pick has been anything but on the court as a rookie.

Reese has posted 10 consecutive double-doubles, a WNBA single-season record. The Chicago Sky forward and No. 7 overall pick is averaging 13.3 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.

Currently, Reese is one of the two favorites to win WNBA Rookie of the Year, along with the aforementioned Clark.
