BUCKS TRACKING POLL RESULTS: FIRST ROUND PART 1

In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we asked about Giannis’ calf injury, Damian Lillard’s heroics, and who should run the show with both of them off the floor. Here are the highlights:

  • 20% of respondents’ minds were changed by the Bucks’ impressive Game 1 victory, now believing they can beat the Pacers without Giannis.
  • 43% feel that Giannis should only play tonight if he is close to fully healthy, while 54% feel they should wait until he’s all the way there.
  • 70% have some degree of concern about Giannis’ long-term health if he plays this series with his strained calf.
  • 89% are satisfied with how Damian Lillard has performed in his first playoff run as a Buck, with 30% of them feeling he’s exceeding expectations.
  • When Dame isn’t on the floor, most (53%) think Patrick Beverley should run the offense over Khris Middleton (35%) or anyone else (12%).
  • Doc Rivers’ approval rating jumped 20% from last week and disapproval fell 9%. A plurality remains undecided, though he shaved that number by 8%. Jon Horst’s approval rose 10%, but he maintains a similar number of detractors (just a 3% fall) with 7% fewer undecided.
  • Title confidence got a 9% bump this week and 11% fewer respondents think the Bucks can’t pull it off. With “undecided” moving only a percent, some people might have flipped entirely.

Thanks again for voting! Check back on Tuesday for another slate of questions.
